Mike is the founding director and owner of Cookerburra which he set up in October 1993.
He still goes out and cleans ovens when needed but today spends a lot of time with new clients and preparing quotations for both commercial and domestic jobs.
He is still passionate about his business and believes that the success of Cookerburra has been and always will be customer care. If his customers are happy then he is happy.
Paul has been part of Cookerburra since November 2023. Having completed his four week intensive training program, the feedback we have from his customers is that he is very courteous and pays tremendous attention to detail. He is a much valued member of the team.
In his spare time he enjoys walking his dog and spending time tending his allotment.
Nigel has been with Cookerburra since January 2020 and he is an integral part of the company.
Nigel is actively involved with mike on the development of the commercial side of Cookerburra with residential lettings and commercial kitchens. Nigel values the importance of spending time with his wife and family and playing golf in his spare time.
Keith joined Cookerburra in July 1999 and is close to to 25 years of service with the company. His dedication, knowledge and experience would be hard to replace. It gives him great pleasure in going back and seeing his existing customers for over 20 years. To them he is the face of Cookerburra and always insist on having Keith. He is an avid Liverpool supporter and also enjoys walking his dog.
Stuart has been in the background of Cookerburra for three years by assisting Mike on Marketing days and using his Ex Military Senior Logistics Manager experience of 30 years and his working as management in industry. He is an Integral part of the Team assisting to develop & promote Cookerburra to the next level.
Annabel has been with Cookerburra since September 2024. She will be helping with the admin side of the business as well as the social media marketing, and will be actively involved in the marketing process for the next four months before she leaves to work in Northern Ireland in 2025. She also volunteers at local Goring charity “the Hub”, helping out in the admin and fundraising teams. In her free time she likes to play board games and spend time with her family.

Just had my double oven cleaned by the Reading branch (Nigel) and he’s done an excellent job throughout – I’ve done it several times myself and have never got it as clean as he has just done – it’s basically come up like new. A highly professional service, keeping me updated with what he had done and the remaining time and super careful on the COVID front. We had an 8am appointment and he was here at 7:55 – what’s not to like? Highly recommended from me.
